I feel bad for visiting this space so infrequently. There are so many avenues in which you can express yourself nowadays. So I've spread myself out and mostly just contained my writing to journaling. But really what good is it doing there and only there? For hours and hours to be spent among those pages. Novels in themselves. So what good are they sitting in my backpack or on a shelf with books others have written? What good is it to care if you don't share? I write a lot about struggles and triumphs and ideas and also just day to day happenings. But why struggle alone or celebrate alone? And what good is it to have ideas if they'll never see the light of day? Tucked away safely in between the pages smudged in coffee stains and kids' drawings. Journaling is actually a very lonely act, and although most of the time it's liberating to get those feelings out somehow, it is essentially just talking to yourself and with yourself.
