Substack and all that

 Is long form content becoming a thing of the not so past? Substack is a place where people can share their thoughts in a long form manner such as journals and articles that they've written. I was surprised to see this concept come back into play. I thought it was gone for good. There was a time when blogs dominated the internet sphere, but then posting came along and people could then share short articles and captions that got the point across quickly. For a while content had just been getting shorter and shorter. So you could imagine the stir up that came with this new social media. 

The prevalence of Substack made me want to blow the dust off of this old blog of mine, reactivate my domain and come back here to play. I also have a substack, but there's something so special about having a place that's all your own. Where you can go to share your work and your work only. Where you're  not bombarded by algorithm and advertising. 

I always held on to hope that long form content would make a comeback and now it has. And I am happy. Maybe our attention span will increase little by little. Let's write some poetry together.
