Music Monday

Hi Hi Hi! It's Monday and decided to talk about what I'm most excited about at the moment and that is this New James Blake Album -Assume Form. It's so good. Like so good. I haven't been this in love with some music in a while. When I first listened to it it, I was like Eh... because I was expecting the same James Blake that I'm used to, but this was so different, but different in a good way. So I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

James Blake came out with an interview where he was talking about how he's often referred to as the"sad boy".  He sings in a very sorrowful tone with very melancholy beats on pretty heartfelt topics. Many view this as a negative thing. Men singing about their emotions, they say that's not manly, but it is. Sensitivity isn't only a female trait, men are just as emotional as women even if only on the inside. Men like James Blake and many others are demonstrating that it not a sign of weakness to express your feelings as a man. Which I think is pretty cool.

I want to my sons to know that is okay to cry and to express how you are feeling without the fear of being judged.
