I failed

I've found this challange of blogging prompts everyday kind of well, challenging. Normally when I get the urge to blog, I really just want to get off whatever is on my mind. I want to talk about whatever is eating away at me and not necessarily go with the prompt that I'm presented with at the time. That being said, I have enjoyed this process of self discovery. It has been pretty fun. Getting to be able to answer things that I've never really considered before has allowed me to open my heart and mind to some new ideas. I definitely want to continue trying to blog/journal everyday because I believe it is so beneficial to my sanity. In this interview with Marie Forleo and Seth Godin, Godin explains why everyone should blog everyday and it makes so much sense. We all have so many things swimming around in our brains on a daily basis, I like to call them thought planes,  and writing them down gives us a way to express our thoughts and also organize them. I love the writing process.

I'm going to complete this April challange even if that means writing 10 blog posts in one day, or staying up long after my kids go to sleep. In the future I won't put that pressure on myself. Challenges are fun for the way that they push you out of your comfort zone. 7 more days!

Did you keep up? Have you been able to blog/journal for 23 days in a row. I'd loved to hear the impact that this challange and new habit have had on you personally.
