What is the greatest life lesson you've learned over the past years?
The greatest life lesson that I've learned over the pasts years has probably been to trust my instincts. Spanning over the past 10 years or so, I've found myself questioning everything I had come to know to be true. I want to know why, what, where, who, what. You know? When I was younger I would blindly accept things without challenging them but, probably around college time, I begin to discover that there is no one way of doing anything, and finding the way to do things that work best for me and for my situation is the way to go. It was easy to believe what my teachers or elders was easy but learning to think for myself has been the greatest life lesson I have gained. I'll listen to others point of view but I will always do my own research.
This type of thinking isn't really encouraged in public schools. Majority of schools teach you to believe what they teach you, where as in college you are encouraged to figure things out for yourself.
