April 10: April Blogging Challange
What is something you have always wanted to do? What has stopped you?
Something I've always wanted to do/still want to is/hope to do in this lifetime is to write a novel. I think that is one of the greatest accomplishments someone can make. To create a book from start to finish. It takes so much time and perseverance, but once done you can say "I wrote a book!" That just must feel really good to say you know?
I've started a few novels, but never completed one. Usually I end up talking myself out of it. I convince myself that the story isn't good enough or that it's been done before, so I turn in before I complete it. The farthest I've gotten was a book I started 2 years ago called , A Hole. I got 12 chapters in and then re-read it and thought it freakin sucked. Hopefully one day I'll buckle down and complete a novel and try and get it published. I'm so proud of anyone who's ever written a book whether I know them or not. It's such an accomplishment.
