Video Games for Moms?

Alright guys, this post is a little out of left field for me, but I just have to talk about this video game that I've been kind of really diggin' lately. So... my son who is 4 is OBSESSED with video games. His favorite games at the moment are Zelda, Super Smash Bros, and this new game called Splatoon.

 I started to play this Splatoon game right along side him and I haven't been able to stop. The main reason being is that this game is extremely satisfying. Like extremely.

For those that don't know about the game, I'll break it down for you a bit. The game features these humanoid characters called Inklings. These Inklings dress in super rad clothing and they have the ability to morph into squids in order to swim really fast through ink. The Inklings have many different tools or weapons which they use to squirt out ink. (Stay with me) The ink comes in a variety of beautifully bright colors.  During a battle, the goal of the game is to cover the majority of the playing field in your own teams color. Whichever team has the most ink down when time runs out wins the battle.

The reason why it is so satisfying is because you run around painting ink and the ink splashing makes this nice noise and idk it just really appeals to my senses. If that makes sense.

My favorite tools to use during a battle are the giant paint rollers. My son likes the guns. Go figure.
