I pushed that "New Post" button and I was like, damn it's been a while. You know when you fall out of the habit of doing something, you completley just fall out. I did write in this space more for what felt like a good while and then something happened and I just fell out of the habit. When you finally come back to it, it's like blowing of the dust off and cracking open a box hoping no spiders jump out and bite you. It shouldn't be that terrifying but it is somehow. So, I've blown the dust off this old blogspace of mine and decided to share thoughts in this space once again. I love this platform because it's free of judgment. Nobody really reads it so I can just speak fluidly. Kind of like a journal. That's what this is-my virtual journal.
As I sit here typing there is a tiny alien girl kicking me in the abdomen and probably laughing about it. That's right. I am with child...again. It's crazy to me that this may quite possibly be the last time that I grow another human in my body so I stop to acknowledge every stir and movement and just enjoy it every moment I can. This pregnancy has gone by way to fast! It's like I found out I was pregnant and now here I am at week 30something. I really don't know how many weeks I am, I'm not just saying that. I've been way too busy , with a 4 year old and a toddler to even keep track. Nonetheless, I'm so excited to meet this girl so soon. She's so active. She always stretching, and moving or as I like to call it... dancing. Such a little dancer this girl is going to be.
Other than pregnancy, my toddler, Phoenix is now nearly 20 months old. Crazy, right? The last time I blogged he had only just turned a year old. He's like a real kid now. He plays with his brother, and his toys. He's started to say a bunch of words. My favorite thing he says is, "There's my mommy!" when he's been looking for me and he finally finds me lol.
My 4 year old, Sebastian, is omg the best. I'm really loving this age. He turned 4 in May. He's so independent now and knows what he likes and what he doesn't. Right now he's really into video games. He liked Mario and Sonic but now he's really into this game called, Splatoon. The game is just plainly bazaar. It's about these little characters who carry around guns filled with colored ink and they can turn into squids. The point of the game is to cover majority of the field of play in your teams color. But hey, he thinks it's cool so I do too.
As much as I love all of the colors of summer, I have loathed this Texas heat, man. I'm so excited for my favorite season of all, FALL. I love the colors, the smells, the clothes, the weather. Everything about Fall just makes me feel all warm and cozy inside.
I'll have much more updates leading up to the birth of our daughter!(still doesn't feel real) More about my boys and just life and as it unfolds in front of us. I love you all whoever you may be.
